Faculty & Staff

Faculty should approach students who they are interested in having as a research assistant, and with whom they are interested in creating a mentoring relationship. GUROP is a partnership between the student and faculty member, and faculty should encourage students with potential to apply.

Faculty who intend to sponsor undergraduate research assistants should submit to GUROP descriptions of their research interests and indicate the requirements (skills) desired in possible research assistants. Completing the online form will allow all students to see your research interests. We advise competing the research project description even if you do not presently have a GUROP assistant selected.
