Healy Scholarship
The Timothy S. Healy Scholarship was established in 1989 to commemorate the university presidency of Fr. Timothy S. Healy, S.J. The Timothy S. Healy Scholarship is awarded every year for one year of post baccalaureate study at St. Cross College, University of Oxford. In addition to tuition and fees, the recipient receives a yearly stipend for travel and living expenses.
Requirements:
- GPA above or approaching 3.9
- You must have applied for a Rhodes or Marshall and have been offered and interview to be eligible for the Healy.
- You must be a Georgetown senior in the year you interview for the Rhodes or Marshall.
- Preference given to students majoring in the humanities, particularly Classics, English and Theology.
Georgetown University Application Process:
Submit the Application for Nomination to the Office of University Fellowships.
Following the Rhodes or Marshall final interviews, eligible applicants for the Healy will be reviewed by a University Committee. Final selection will be made by St. Cross College, Oxford.
