Joseph L. Allbritton Scholarship
The Allbritton Scholarship, established in 1984 is awarded to one Georgetown student for one year of post-baccalaureate study in any academic program offered at Brasenose College, University of Oxford. Brasenose College is one of the 39 constituent colleges of the University of Oxford. The Allbritton Scholar will be selected on the basis of academic excellence, character, public service, and interest in the well-being of others. In addition to tuition and fees, the Allbritton Scholar will receive a yearly stipend for travel and living expenses.
Requirements:
- GPA above or approaching 3.9
- You must have applied for either the Rhodes or Marshall and have been offered an interview, in order to be eligible for the Allbritton.
- You must be a Georgetown senior in the year you interview for the Rhodes or Marshall.
Georgetown University Application Process:
Submit the Application for Nomination to the Office of University Fellowships.
Following the Rhodes or Marshall final interviews, eligible applicants for the Allbritton will be reviewed by a University Committee. Final selection will be made by Brasenose College, Oxford.

Open to Juniors, in any school, with a 3.2 GPA or higher. The award covers senior year and graduate school tuition and board.
