Guidelines for Letters of Recommendation
We understand that applicants to the CFI are first semester freshmen, and that professors do not as yet know them in depth. Thus we do not expect the kinds of recommendations that a graduating senior for example would have. What we would like, is a letter from a professor whose class they have taken. The letter should address the following:
- The quality of their work in class
- Their work ethic
- Their punctuality, curiosity, and general class demeanor
We want to get some sense of how they conduct themselves academically.
