CFI Application
A complete application includes the following components:
- This completed cover sheet.
- Resume. The CFI will accept a detailed resume (no more than 2 pages) in which you elaborate on your various experiences. The selection committee would like to get a strong sense of your qualifications, experiences and suitability for the program (Examples of resumes can be found in the Career Education Center's Website).
- A 500- word statement of purpose outlining your reasons for wishing to join the CFI.
- A copy of your unofficial Georgetown transcript (You may copy and paste it from MyAccess).
- One letter of reference from one of your professors at Georgetown University (Professors should email their letters of recommendation directly from their Georgetown email address) Please provide this form to your recommender.
How to submit your CFI application
- Copy and paste components 1 through 4 (completed cover sheet, resume, statement of purpose and unofficial Georgetown transcript) into one Word document or PDF.
- Include your name as the title of your attachment (Jane Austen - CFI Application).
- Email your application to carrollprograms@georgetown.edu by November 28th at 9 am.
- Upon submitting your application, you will receive an email to schedule an interview.
Applications that do not adhere to these guidelines will not be reviewed.
**Please note that the required Forum class for Carroll Fellows will take place on Fridays from 1 pm to 2:50 pm. Please make sure to check the required courses in your majors or programs to make sure you have the time open.
