Alexandra Alpaugh

A sophomore in the School of Nursing and Health Studies, Alex love the coursework in International Health and Mathematics. She is filling her pre-medical school requirements and hopes to one day take her knowledge of medicine to serve the international communities that need it most. Alex is currently pursuing a research opportunity studying the genealogy of breast cancer.

Alex loves playing nearly any sport. She particularly enjoys running, cycling, and yoga. Alex sings in the University Chapel Choir and regularly practices piano, which she has studied for 14 years. Volunteering for DC Habitat for Humanity is another passion of hers. Alex is an accomplished baker and truly believes in the therapeutic effects of coloring.
