Hyunsok Lee
I, “Hyun,” for short, major in International Economics with Subfield B: International Finance & Commerce in the School of Foreign Service. As a junior focusing on Economics and Finance, I am studying abroad for a year at London School of Economics and Political Science. Interested in East Asian languages as a native Korean, I have studied Chinese since high school, and hope to learn Japanese in the near future.
Before going to London, I served as Sergeant in the Republic of Korea Army and the United States Army for two years. I interned in consulting and accounting, worked as a teaching assistant in Principles of Microeconomics, and started to pursue Certified Public Accountant candidacy. In the near future, I hope to pursue a career in global finance. In the far future, with interest in East Asian diplomacy, economics, and finance, I hope to work in the public sector as well.
I enjoy playing the violin and sports, such as soccer, basketball, swimming, and golf. During sophomore year, I participated in Business and Economics Cluster with interest in securities investment.
