Application

Please read these instructions to complete your Raines application.

A complete application includes the following components:
  1. Online Application
  2. A 1000 words essay
  3. A ten-week timeline
  4. List of all procedures and documentation required to conduct research in foreign country including customs regulations, travel documentation, etc. (for students conducting research abroad)
  5. Résumé (no more than 2 pages)
  6. Transcript (may be unofficial)
  7. One letter of support (faculty sponsors should email their letter of recommendation directly from their Georgetown email address)
How to submit your Raines application
  • Complete online application
  • Copy and paste the aforementioned components into one Word document.
  • Include your name as the title of your attachment (Charles Dickens -Raines Application)
  • Email your application to carrollprograms@georgetown.edu by 12:00 pm on Wednesday, March 14,  2012.
 
Applications that do not adhere to these guidelines will not be reviewed.
