We are pleased to invite you to apply to be a student member of Georgetown’s Undergraduate Honor Council for the 2009-2010 academic year. The student and faculty members of the Honor Council are committed to ensuring that all Georgetown students can enjoy the benefits of a vibrant and respectful learning environment by ensuring that the principles of our university’s Honor System are upheld throughout the community. To that end, our student members work diligently to not only adjudicate cases that come before the Council, but also to educate Georgetown and our peers about the importance of academic integrity to the dialogues that take place in our classrooms each and every day. We have found service on the Honor Council to be an excellent opportunity to assume a leadership role here at Georgetown and we sincerely hope you will consider submitting an application for membership.
